Laurel Latto works on a variety of creative endeavors. She prefers to create fine art through the traditional media of watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media. She has sold her work to private collectors and sells her art online through a variety of stores.
Laurel is a pre-published children's book author & illustrator and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI.)
Laurel Latto is a clinical research professional who has been in the field since 1996 and independently monitoring clinical research trials since 1998. She has monitored pharmaceutical drug, biologic, and device studies including Phases I-IV and PMA/IDE trials.
In November 2000, she obtained her Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP.) Laurel earned her BS in Biochemistry from UC, San Diego in 1995 and a certificate in Clinical Trials Design & Management from UC, San Diego Extension in 1998.
Laurel Latto has volunteered for a variety of non-profits including starting her own 501(c)3 non-profit, DonnaBellas Angels in 2007.
Influenced by her work on innovative oncology drug trials, she realized that the best therapies can cure cancer but not bring emotional wellness to patients and their caregivers, In 2007, she started a 501(c)3 non-profit, DonnaBellas Angels to bring inspirational art into medical settings.
