It was made for SCBWI Artober Day 25 for the art prompt of “gourd.”
The image was inspired by the idea of finding opportunity in the moment. Also, it was about what you should do, “chores,” rather than enjoying the moment with a restful nap. I was undecided about fairy or gnome. I think the drawing came out more as fairy art.
