The drawing was created using colored pencils and ink on paper by Laurel Latto.  

It was made for SCBWI Artober Day 29 for the art prompt of “raven.”

The image was inspired by the idea of unlikely friendships whereby appearances, a friendship should not work out. However, the bond’s reason becomes apparent when you learn more about the friendship which is strong and deep since it overcame unlikely hurdles. The challenges give it depth.
